Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal got arrested by ED for an accusation of a 538-crore bank fraud case

The founder of Jet Airways (India) Mr.Naresh Goyal, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) by Friday evening after a long interrogation at the central agency’s office in Mumbai. 

Goyal was arrested under the PMLA in link with an alleged Rs 538 cr bank fraudent case at Canara Bank, according to a statement issued by the Enforcement Directorate. On Saturday ED presented 74 years old Naresh Goyal in front of a special PMLA court in Mumbai where they argued for his custodial remand. 

This case was started by an FIR launched by the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) against Jet Airways, Anita, and Naresh Goyal along with a few other executives of the company. In the FIR the CBI accused all of them of having a link with the Rs 538-crore fraud case at the Canara Bank.
