Steve Forbes said that he does not have any expectations regarding the Federal Reserve in raising the rates in the upcoming meetings. Moreover, he does not even see any cuts in the near future either.
Steve said:
“I think the Federal Reserve is not going to increase interest rates in the next few months. I think they’re going to pause.”
He has also said that he expects the elections to be held in 2024 to be all about the pocketbook with the current state of the economy is in presently.
Forbes said that the economy is going to be the No. 1 issue this coming election. There are also going to be other issues like foreign policies and crimes. For instance Wsahington’s stance towards its approach to the Ukraine situation.
When he was asked about whether the government of the United States is going to face a shutdown – He reckoned that there might be one that is actually looming.
